Many of you have asked: Why does our Hydrating Day Cream not contain an integrated sunscreen? We made this decision deliberately to ensure the purity and effectiveness of our formulation.
Why no SPF in our day cream?
Our Hydrating Day Cream has been developed to intensively moisturise the skin and support its natural regeneration. Some sunscreens contain chemical UV filters that can have potentially harmful effects on the skin and the environment. By avoiding such ingredients, we ensure that our cream remains free from unwanted chemicals.
Our philosophy: Natural care without compromise
We rely on high-quality, natural ingredients that nourish and protect the skin:
Aloe Vera: Moisturises and soothes the skin.
Hyaluronic acid: Provides intensive deep hydration and improves skin elasticity.
Antioxidants: Protects against free radicals and supports skin regeneration.
These carefully selected components enable us to offer effective care without the addition of chemical UV filters.
Our tip: personalised sun protection as required
To protect against UV radiation, we recommend applying a separate sunscreen with mineral filters such as zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as required. These physical filters reflect UV rays and are known for their good tolerance.
Even though zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in high-quality, non-nano form are considered safe, I personally still prefer to recommend very simple, mechanical protection - such as a sun hat.
This approach allows you to customise your sun protection to your daily needs without compromising the purity and effectiveness of your daily skincare routine.
